The unique NFT is a physical item which connects to a unique digital artwork that can be accessed via an QR code on the back. The project is a limited edition and will be auctioned off in the coming weeks.
The Space Key is made of carbon composite material that Lamborghini as part of a research project in 2019 and sent to the International Space Station. After returning to earth, the carbon fiber was then sculpted into this unique art. The physical object is equipped with an NFT serial code that connects to the digital art work via a QR code on the rear.
For those not in the aware, NFTs are unique identifiers that are recorded on a distributed blockchain ledger and tied to an digital asset such as a photo, video or music. This lets owners ensure the authenticity, scarcity, and the traceability of their tokens on the internet.

Oefner used a balloon equipped with a camera to capture each of the individual shots, which were later merged into the final image. The result is a photograph that is out of this world.
